This route links Villanueva de la Serena (Badajoz) with Logrosán (Cáceres). It follows an old railroad road designed to communicate this area with Talavera de la Reina, whose works were abandoned for good. Its route, 57.8 km long, offers the traveler, in addition to the beauty of its landscape, the possibility of getting to know the largest wintering area of the cranes that, coming from northern Europe, punctually come every year to their appointment with the best pastures in the Iberian Peninsula.
It joins the Camino Natural de las Villuercas in Logrosán, where we can continue until we reach the lands of Toledo, but not before approaching the Monastery of Guadalupe.
